2015 Top Gun - Recap

The 2015 camp was one of the most competitive camps we have ever had!  The overall camp championship was not decided until the very last swing on our last competition.  Here are some highlights from camp.

About our Overall Champion - Tiffany Clark

• 2nd libero to win the camp
  
• Only the 2nd person ever to finish in the top ten all 4 years
  
• Won a total of 6 trophies - the most trophies ever won in one year
  
• Tiffany has 16 total trophies - the most ever won 
  

Random Facts

• Rudel's 2nd place finish is the 2nd highest a junior has ever had and the 17 points she finished with is the 3rd lowest ever point total
  
• Rogers became the first freshman to ever be the Overall Champion in any category
  
• Rudel and Clark tied with 17 points - the first time the camp has ever had 2 players under 20 points
• Johnson has now finished 6th and 9th - she is on pace to become the 3rd person to ever finish all 4 years in the top 10
• Johnson won her grade level for the 2nd straight - no one has ever won their grade 4 straight years
• The freshman class had 5 players in the top 20 (Ward, Tabares, Gard, VanEekeren, Birutis) - most ever Freshman to be in the top 20
• 3 Sophomores in the top 10 (Johnson, Gregus, Michniak) - tied for 2nd most ever
• Not an official category, but we hand out a trophy for hardest hit - using a speed gun.  Overall winner -  Clark, Junior - Rudel, Soph - Johnson, Frosh - Lukowych
